OUTLAW CHASERS STRANDED
Vernal, June 19.-The Moab posse which followed the trail of the outlaws who murdered Sheriff Tyler and Deputy Jenkins, from Hill creek, have been heard from at Rawlins, where they are said to be stranded. Governor Wells, before leaving for the east, failed to secure transportation home for the men by rail, and Sheriff Preece has been informed that the men will return overland via Vernal. They are expected here in a few days. Salt Lake Herald June 22, 1900
