Daggett County Schools
Linwood School
The people of Washam sent their children to School at Linwood. The school was built with half of the building being in Wyoming and the other half being in Utah. In the summer of 1910, the citizens of Washam, who had been sending their children to the Linwood School, decided to build their own school on a hill just above the site of the original District Thirteen site, about three and one-half miles northeast of Manila on ground owned by Mrs. Frank Adamson, and continuing as Sweetwater County Wyoming District Number Thirteen. The people of Linwood and surrounding area continued to send their children to the Linwood School unitl 1918 when the school was closed and they went to the Washam School in Wyoming
